The initial one-time territory license fee for Take-A-Break is $995.00. Each additional territory license, if and where available. Thereafter can be purchased at $695.00. YES - you read it right! This is not a typography error. While our competitors charge up to $10,000 to $15,000 per territory, we have come to the conclusion that we benefit by ensuring your ongoing success, and that means not burdening our licensees with high initial investments and debts and offering a GROUND FLOOR OPPORTUNITY to get into business at a very low price for yourself without losing sleep with worry over debt. The added benefit for new and existing Take-A-Break licensees investing NOW is that the equity built with the growth of the Take-A-Break concept will translate into significant value appreciation of their license and territory. Each Take-A-Break licensee enters into a licensing agreement outlining specific terms and conditions. In addition, a weekly media content fee of $38.00 for the first territory and $18.00 for each additional territory owned by the licensee is payable via pre-authorized bank withdrawal or credit card. This fee is locked in for the term of the initial license agreement. Also, weekly content is provided in both color and black ink to the licensee at the same flat fee.

Distribution
Take-A-Break newsletters are distributed every week free of charge through restaurants, bars and any other retail establishment that requires their clients to wait for any length of time for a product or service. Each establishment is provided with a professional Take-A-Break holder that is placed in a highly visible area, generally on a counter at the entrance or next to the cashier.Take-A-Break issues are replenished throughout the week as required. A minimum of 1,000 issues are initially printed and distributed weekly by the licensee within the licensed territory with issues replenished once during the week as and when they run out.

Equipment
Take-A-Break licensees are required to have minimal equipment - a PC system, a scanner and access to a printer capable of printing up to tabloid size proofs. In addition, specific basic software may be required.

Some Take-A-Break licensees elect to produce the issues in-house by purchasing a mid-volume connected digital copier capable of printing tabloid size sheets, although it is not a requirement. Many licensees prefer to have the issues copied at one their local print centers at a pre-set nominal fee.
