Take-A-Break was created specifically to meet the needs of medium and small sized enterprises to promote their products and services within their immediate communities and markets at an economical price. Issues can be produced in full color on white laser paper or black ink on standard ivory stock, depending upon advertiser budgets. Advertising rates vary depending upon the type of production. However, it is our experience that in most cases, advertisers elect to represent themselves in full color for maximum impact and exposure.

Take-A-Break is a freely distributed community newsletter published every week with catchy, interesting and consumer focused content that invites readership and conversation. Each issue contains standard sections incorporating humor, knowledge, inspiration, astrology and general information. In a recent survey conducted by a leading market research firm, a growing percentage of Take-A-Break readers keenly await the publication of each issue with anticipation. That same survey also found that readers tended to use the products and services of Take-A-Break advertisers over their competitors because of the consistent appeal of the advertising.

Each Take-A-Break issue consists of up to 32 advertisements aligned in two vertical column lengths for maximum subliminal and direct exposure. As the reader is drawn to the content in the middle of the issue, there is constant and effective viewing of each advertisement. Each advertising message is catchy yet simple, to the point and promotes the advertisers major product and/or service.

Take-A-Break issues are printed and distributed weekly at various facilities within the community where individuals would wait such as coffee shops, fast food restaurants, bars, auto centers, medical offices, pharmacies, food courts and copy centers, to name a few. On average, 3,000 - 5,000 individuals read Take-A-Break issues within their specific community every week.

ADVERTISING RATES & SPECIFICATIONS
Advertisements can be placed in full color issues or black ink issues.
Pre-paid advertising prices per week as follows:

Full Color Issues -
$ 78.00 per spot per issue per week for a 6 week term;
$ 68.00 per spot per issue per week for a 12 week term;
$ 58.00 per spot per issue per week for a 26 week term.

$ 38.00 per spot per issue per week for a 6 week term;
$ 33.00 per spot per issue per week for a 12 week term;
$ 28.00 per spot per issue per week for a 26 week term.

All advertising is pre-paid for the specific term. Licensees have the option, however, to offer credit terms to advertisers as well as offer special pricing at their discretion.

Advertisers have industry exclusivity for their product/service for the contract period. Competitors wishing to advertise are placed on a waiting list. This gives the Take-A-Break licensee leverage and comfort in revenue projecting for the long term.

Each advertising spot is 3” x 2”; advertisement content can be changed weekly at no extra cost. Advertisements spots are shuffled every week to allow equal, effective and maximum exposure for all advertisers.
